At Berlin’s first demonstration after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, a child represents a protest for peace even more powerful against the backdrop of the Holocaust Memorial (Denkmal für die ermordeten Juden Europas) which stands next to the Brandenburger Tor.
